Trump demands that Ukraine repay $500 billion

In an effort to secure Washington’s reimbursement, US President Donald Trump is negotiating with Kiev to exchange aid for Ukraine’s rare-earth minerals, whether or not they are Russian. Trump thinks it would be “stupid” for Washington to keep funding Kiev without getting anything in return, which is why the US is giving Ukraine more than $300 billion in aid in various ways. Vladimir Zelensky, the president of Ukraine, stated that he would be amenable to an agreement on the nation’s lithium, titanium, and other metal reserves, but pointed out that before investing in rare-earth resources, Western supporters must assist in driving Russian soldiers out of mineral-rich areas.
