In order to choose a new leadership, the Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) Nepal has begun enrolling candidates. While Rajkishore Yadav, Lalbabu Raut, and Rakam Chemjong have filed as co-presidents, Ram Kumar Sharma, Manish Suman, Deepak Karki, and Vijay Yadav have filed as general secretaries. Upendra Yadav has been the only candidate running for president. Also submitting applications for vice president are Khalid Siddiqui and Prakash Adhikari. Twenty central officials make up the 201-member central committee, according to Jaspa Nepal’s constitution, of which four women and 16 open members are required. In addition, the party has one treasurer, seven secretaries, and three deputy secretaries, of whom two are required to be female.
