The Ministry of Finance has launched the Integrated Office Management System (GIOMS). Finance Minister Rameshwor Khanal inaugurated the system today by approving the file from the system. It is stated that this system has been launched to implement the government’s concept of making the work performed by government agencies simple, easy, fast, economical, transparent and effective through a single information technology system and making it paperless.
The use of this system, developed by the Information Technology Department under the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, has been made mandatory in the Ministry of Finance.
Using the system, it has been made mandatory to perform specific orders and comment decisions electronically, register and invoice letters, approve attendance, leave and work, record management, etc. using electronic signatures.
The Ministry of Finance has stated that the implementation of this system is expected to increase speed in the decision-making process, save costs, transparency and accountability in the work process.
