Residential facilities for students , Baglung

Due of geographical challenges, pupils in Tamankhola Rural Municipality-6 Narjakhani had to trek six hours a day to get to school. From January 1st, the village government has been offering residential facilities to Shanti Secondary School pupils in Ward No. 5 Khungkhani who are enrolled in class 10. The pupils have been pursuing secondary education for years by trekking for hours on end, according to the school’s principal, Satyanaran Singh, and they have been provided living amenities for roughly three months in order to prepare for the SEE. The operation of the dormitories in Shanti Mavi is funded annually by one lakh rupees given by the rural municipality. If students attend school for three months and put forth effort, their grades should rise.

According to Satyanaran Singh, the principal of the school, the students have been pursuing secondary education for years by hiking for hours on end.
During roughly three months, they have been given living accommodations in order to get ready for the SEE. The rural municipality donates one 100,000 rupees a year to keep the dormitories in Shanti Mavi running. Students should see an improvement in their grades if they attend class for three months and work hard.
