Siraha, Lahan Municipality will provide financial support for free cataract surgery about 1000 people in the city region. An agreement has been made between Lahan Municipality and Sagarmatha Chaudhary Eye Hospital. Mayor Mahesh Chaudhary and Hospital Board Chairman Rabindralal Chaudhary signed the agreement on Wednesday. According to the agreement, a free eye screening camp will be held in Vadawada with financial and technical help from the municipality and the hospital. The goal is to deliver free cataract surgery to about 1,000 people at the camp. According to Mayor Choudhary, hosting eye check-up camps in villages will greatly benefit the poor, needy, crippled, older residents, and children.
