276 humanitarian aid trucks entered Gaza.

Israel’s COGAT (Coordination of Government Activities in the Territories) announced that 276 aid trucks carrying humanitarian supplies underwent inspection and were permitted entry into Gaza on Friday. The Israeli military body responsible for administering Israeli policy in Gaza and the West Bank, COGAT, disclosed this information while sharing a video of trucks entering Gaza carrying humanitarian supplies. Nine trucks of medical aid were coordinated to the Emirati Hospital, while nine trucks of medical aid were coordinated to the ICRC Hospital. In addition, 144 pallets carrying tens of thousands of aid packages were airdropped into northern Gaza on Friday.

last week Israel said it had begun to ramp up humanitarian aid to Gaza amid intense pressure from the United States. However, humanitarian officials said progress was slow-going and that much more needed to be done as warnings grew of famine in the Palestinian enclave. UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has urged both sides to cease retaliation after Israel carried out a military strike on Iran. The ministry of health disclosed that the death toll in the Gaza Strip has risen to at least 34,012, following more than six months of war between Israel and Palestinian.
