Purbanchal Cancer Hospital and Yeti Airlines Pvt. Ltd. have partnered to provide cancer patients complimentary airline tickets. The goal of the agreement is to facilitate patients’ access to therapeutic technologies, including radiotherapy, chemotherapy, surgery, and PET-CT scans. Over the course of its five years of operation, the hospital has treated 6,484 cancer patients. 814 new patients with breast cancer and 805 new patients with lung cancer received the most treatment. As part of the government’s poor citizen medical treatment program, the hospital also provides free treatment to low-income families. Helping cancer patients get treatment and go home is the goal of the agreement.
