When referring to Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi as the president of Mexico at a White House press conference, US President Joe Biden erred. After serving as vice president until 2017, Biden was discovered to have “wilfully retained and disclosed classified materials” pertaining to military and diplomatic policy in Afghanistan, according to a Special Counsel report.
